BidPro Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
BidPro ("we", "us", "the app") is a tool for contractors to create, send, and track bids and to manage clients and jobs. This policy explains what information BidPro collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what the app needs to work for you.
Information We Collect
- Account information — name, email address, and phone number you provide when you create an account.
- Business content you create — bids, line items, scope of work, notes, clients, job details, and job-site addresses you enter.
- Photos — images you choose to attach to bids, jobs, or your profile.
- Location — only if you grant permission, to help associate jobs with addresses. You can decline and still use the app.
- Contacts — only if you choose to import a client from your device contacts.
- Subscription / purchase status — if you buy a subscription, it is processed by Apple; we receive your purchase status, not your card details.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide core features: creating and sending bids, tracking status, and managing clients and jobs.
- To sync your data to your account so it is available across your devices.
- To send transactional notifications related to your account and bids (you control push notifications in Settings).
- To maintain security and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your bid or client data for advertising.
How Your Data Is Stored
Your data is stored securely with our infrastructure provider (Supabase, which hosts on cloud infrastructure) and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access is restricted to your authenticated account.
Third Parties
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
- Apple — App Store, in-app purchases, and push notification delivery.
- Optional integrations you explicitly connect (for example accounting tools) only receive the data needed to perform the action you request.
Account Deletion & Your Choices
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app. Deleting your account removes your personal information and associated business content from our active systems. You may also request deletion by emailing us. You can disable location, photo, contacts, and notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Data Retention
We retain your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your data from active systems; limited records may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Children
BidPro is a business tool intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
